Reporting to:
Customs and Operations Manager
Responsibilities:
- Verify tariffs and product classifications.
- Ensure supplier import/export documentation complies with SARS customs regulations.
- Administer certificates and permits when required.
- Reconcile customs clearance instructions with final clearance and resolve variances.
- Investigate discrepancies and determine if a Voucher of Correction (VOC) is needed.
- Record and report VOCs, refunds, rebates, and credits.
- Support inbound coordinators in compiling documents for customs and border police interventions.
- Assist finance in resolving customs queries, audits, and enquiries.
- Coordinate ad-hoc customs projects and cost-saving initiatives.
Required Attributes:
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite.

Qualifications:
- National Senior Certificate.
- Formal Import/Export training.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and finance processes.
- 3+ years of experience in Import/Export and Finance.
- Experience in supply chain or logistics within the retail/FMCG industry is beneficial.
