Job Overview:
Motus Toyota Kempton Park has an opening for a dedicated and driven Sales Representative: New Vehicles. The role is ideal for someone with prior experience in vehicle sales, a passion for customer service, and a desire to grow their career in the automotive retail industry. The successful candidate will report directly to the Manager of New Vehicles Sales and will play a key role in achieving sales targets and providing excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer and Sales Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Understand customer needs and tailor sales strategies to meet those needs.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with the compliance regulations that govern the motor retail industry will be an advantage.
  • Client Development: Experience in cold calling to develop a robust client base and expand market reach.
  • Dealership Knowledge: Understanding of dealership policies, procedures, and competitive dynamics within the motor industry.
  • Toyota SA Structures and Procedures: Knowledge of Toyota SA's structures and processes is highly advantageous.
  • Sales Targets: Drive business development initiatives to meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Customer Retention: Develop strategies to retain the existing customer base while growing market share.
  • Customer Service: Manage customer expectations effectively to deliver high-quality service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Participate in marketing campaigns and promotions to drive sales and customer engagement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum Education: Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Criminal Record: Must have a clear criminal record
  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license is required
  • Sales Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a sales executive, preferably in vehicle sales
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer applications is essential

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication abilities to engage effectively with clients and team members
