Job Description:
LiquidCapital, a global leader in offering specialized financial products for motor vehicles, is seeking a Telesales Agent to join its dynamic Sales Team. LiquidCapital is part of the Motus Group, a JSE-listed company in the automotive industry, driven by leadership, innovation, and customer service excellence. The successful candidate will report directly to the Call Centre Manager and will be responsible for generating sales across various campaigns and projects, including warranties, service and maintenance plans, and other related products.


Position Overview:
As a Telesales Agent, you will generate sales for various motor vehicle products such as Warranty/Booster, Service & Maintenance, LPP, Adcover/Deposit Cover, Paint Tech & Tyre & Rim Sales. This role will require strong telephonic sales skills, with a focus on meeting daily, weekly, and monthly targets through outbound calls.


Specific Role Responsibilities:

  • Sales Generation: Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively selling products over the phone.
  • Lead Follow-up: Ensure all sales leads are followed up in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Compliance: Adhere to Quality Assurance (QA) and Compliance criteria as per FAIS requirements.
  • Cross-Selling: Ability to cross-sell and close deals from a wide range of products and services.
  • Customer Needs: Accurately assess customer needs, deal with objections, and close sales.
  • Recording: Accurately document all call details on the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Professional Development: Maintain and develop professional selling skills through ongoing learning.
  • Daily Administration: Perform necessary administrative tasks to support sales activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education:
    • Grade 12 / Matric
    • Fully FAIS accredited (as per DOFA date)
    • RE Qualification (as per DOFA date)
    • Up-to-date with Continuous Professional Development (CPD) hours
    • Preference for candidates with a full FAIS qualification
  • Experience:
    • 1-2 years of sales experience in a telesales environment
    • Inbound/outbound call centre experience
    • Motor industry experience will be an advantage
  • School leavers: Passion for sales is essential if no prior work experience

  • Sales Skills: Excellent telephone selling skills with the ability to communicate with enthusiasm and drive.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a good command of English.
  • Results-Oriented: Must be driven by targets and incentives.
  • Negotiation: Strong negotiation and closing skills or willingness to be trained in these areas.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well in a team and support colleagues.
  • Time Management: Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personality: Outgoing, vivacious, and confident with a strong attention to detail.
  • Technology: Computer literate with knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems (added advantage).
  • Integrity: Ability to handle financial advice and transactions with honesty and integrity.
  • Work Shifts: Must be able to work late and weekend shifts.
  • Study Assistance: Provided for those who haven't completed their RE/FAIS qualification (subject to work-back agreement).
