Key Performance Outputs:
The successful candidate will report to the Senior Supervisor of Accounts Receivables and will be responsible for the following:
- Adhere to statutory/legislative regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operational standards, policies, and practices.
- Assist in preparing periodic management accounts, including budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and commentaries.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations for relevant ledger accounts and resolve all unreconciled items.
- Create and post journals on the relevant financial system.
- Resolve queries effectively or escalate when necessary.
- Prepare reconciliations for relevant balance sheet accounts and address reconciling items within your control.
- Provide administrative support to ensure business objectives are met.
- Prepare tax supporting schedules for submission to SARS.
- Prepare creditor reconciliations and process invoices using the document archiving tool.
- Investigate and resolve payment queries.
- Process supplier reconciliations and follow up on non-reconciling items.
- Prepare sundry billing for operating costs to stakeholders.
- Perform debtors’ administration and collection, excluding billing.
- Prepare monthly debtors' reports.
- Manage the daily collection and banking of funds.
- Handle and reconcile petty cash on a daily basis.
Technical Skills and Experience:
The following qualifications and experience are required:
- Education: Diploma or equivalent in Finance/Property (essential).
- Experience: 1–2 years of finance operational experience (essential).
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office at Basic Level.
