Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to provide quality and accurate business administrative support to both internal and external stakeholders, helping Nedbank to meet its business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process stakeholder requests by capturing and managing administrative data on the relevant system.
  • Capture and process vendor invoice payments and perform reconciliations between supplier invoices and general ledger accounts.
  • Drive revenue by ensuring the completion of submitted sales and allocate costs to products.
  • Recover costs for services rendered by managing the transfer pricing system.
  • Monitor departmental financial performance, analyze actual-to-budget variances, and contribute to budget compilation.
  • Minimize financial and reputational risks by ensuring accurate processing activities and reduce operational costs.
  • Generate and deliver reports to stakeholders, ensuring adherence to the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Verify reports and transactions by extracting and checking data from systems and ensuring compliance with Nedbank policies and FICA regulations.
  • Prepare trustee meeting and month-end packs for management.
  • Maintain electronic and physical administration files.
  • Escalate issues where needed and keep up-to-date with legislative changes impacting the role.
  • Continuously develop personal skills and knowledge by identifying learning opportunities.
  • Support corporate social responsibility initiatives and contribute to process enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Essential: Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Preferred: Diploma in Financial Management or Business Administration

Experience:

1 - 2 years of administrative experience in a banking environment is required.
