Key Performance Outputs:

The successful candidate will report to the Supervisor of the Car Park and will be responsible for the following:

  • Patrol the Car Park area to ensure functionality and cleanliness of the car park equipment and report any non-compliance.
  • Follow up on reported non-compliance and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Notify relevant personnel in case of emergencies.
  • Participate in ad hoc services as required.
  • Ensure smooth handovers between shifts to avoid disruptions.
  • Investigate and escalate customer-related queries when necessary.
  • Replenish change at pay stations as needed.
  • Manage and reconcile the daily cash float.
  • Assist customers with change when necessary.
  • Adhere to statutory regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operational standards, policies, and practices.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to achieve organizational goals.
  • Implement remedial actions where required.

Technical Skills and Experience:

The following qualifications and experience are required:

  • Education: Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (essential).
  • Experience: 1 year of operational experience as a Car Park Attendant (essential).
  • License: Code B (Motor Vehicle License).
  • Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
