- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers.
- Report customer complaints and compliments to the Frontline Supervisor or store management.
- Maintain awareness of current sales and promotions, and ensure colleagues and customers are not exposed to risks.
- Carry out Dis-Chem's 5-star communication principles.
- Handle cash flow responsibly, ensuring all voids and price changes are approved.
- Process various payment methods (cash, cards, vouchers, etc.) and loyalty cards.
- Place cash in the drop safe as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Keep passwords secure and ensure all outgoing stock is properly scanned and paid for.
- Report any suspicious behavior and address customer queries related to store merchandise.

Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to Dis-Chem’s customer service policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers.
- Report customer complaints and compliments to the Frontline Supervisor or store management.
- Ensure compliance with the customer turnover hourly rate.
- Stay updated on current sales and promotions.
- Ensure the safety of colleagues and customers by adhering to risk protocols.
- Implement and manage Dis-Chem’s 5-star communication principles.
- Handle cash flow responsibly and ensure all voids and price changes are approved.
