Job Description:
Auto Pedigree, a leading supplier of quality, used low-kilometer vehicles with over 70 branches nationwide, is looking for a trustworthy and responsible individual to fill the role of Driver/Cleaner at our Parklands branch. We are seeking candidates with relevant driving experience who are committed to maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness and providing exceptional service. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our vehicles are presented and delivered in excellent condition, while also fulfilling general transport duties.

Position Overview:
The purpose of the position is to provide an effective transport and cleaning service in line with the company's standard operating procedures and all relevant legislative requirements. The Driver/Cleaner will be responsible for delivering and collecting goods, documentation, vehicles, and customers in a safe and proper manner while upholding the integrity of the business and its customers.

Specific Role Responsibilities:

• Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles to meet high showroom standards.
• Conduct vehicle quality control, including the identification and reporting of issues like expired licenses or overdue services.
• Ensure vehicles received from other locations or suppliers meet quality standards.
• Refuel vehicles, check tire pressure, and ensure that oil, water, and other fluids are maintained.
• Deliver vehicles to customers or other branches as per company procedures.
• Collect and deliver documentation from banks, suppliers, internal departments, and customers.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the premises.
• Protect the company's interests by acting ethically and safeguarding its assets.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Branch Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Experience:
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum Qualification:
  • Grade 12.
• Minimum Requirement:
  • Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (held for at least 2 years).
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Must be fully bilingual and able to effectively communicate with customers in English.
  • Able to read and interpret maps for navigation.
