Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Code C Driving License.
  • Professional Driving Permit.
  • No experience required.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer/client management.
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to write reports.

Duties:

  1. Drive Clients (Chauffeur or Shuttle Service):

    • Safely transport clients to and from destinations.
    • Plan the fastest route and communicate any changes.
    • Maintain road safety standards and ensure comfortable trips.
    • Professionally interact with clients.
  2. Deliver Items:

    • Deliver documents, mail, and other items to stakeholders and clients.
    • Maintain records of deliveries.
  3. Provide Safe Driving:

    • Apply defensive driving and hijack avoidance techniques.
    • Understand and use maps like Google Maps.
    • Ensure fire safety knowledge and basic first aid.
  4. Customer Service:

    • Treat clients with respect and professionalism.
    • Assist clients with luggage and provide relevant information regarding their journey.
    • Promote g-FleeT’s services and brand.
  5. Record Keeping and Vehicle Maintenance:

    • Maintain an accurate vehicle logbook and ensure all trips are signed off.
    • Complete necessary documents related to accidents or damages.
    • Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and properly maintained.
