Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented F&I Assistant to join our dynamic Finance and Insurance (F&I) Department. The role involves assisting our team in managing the financial processes and paperwork for clients purchasing vehicles, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will support the F&I consultants by handling various administrative tasks and liaising with customers to explain finance terms and products, while maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Provide essential administrative support to F&I consultants, ensuring the smooth operation of the finance process.
  • Assist with loading finance applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
  • Perform a wide range of administrative duties, such as filing, data entry, and preparing documents for submission to financial institutions.
  • Deliver excellent client service by being approachable, professional, and friendly, making sure all customer interactions are handled efficiently.
  • Explain the costs, terms, and contractual obligations related to finance transactions, ensuring customers fully understand the process.
  • Provide customers with information on all available products and services, helping them make informed decisions about their purchases.
  • Compile and submit files containing all required documentation to financial institutions, ensuring the finance process is expedited and meets regulatory requirements.
  • Follow up on all transactions and ensure payouts are processed in a timely manner to avoid delays.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate is essential.
  • NCA Certificate is required for handling finance-related tasks.
  • A BCom degree or relevant diploma is highly preferred, though not mandatory.
  • Exceptional administrative, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure dealership environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required to perform duties effectively.
  • Willingness to work two Saturdays per month, ensuring that the dealership is fully supported during peak times.
