Job Overview:
As a Manufacturing Assistant at VKB Graan Dienste, you will be responsible for performing various tasks within the manufacturing environment, helping with inspections, stock control, and maintaining cleanliness. This role requires some initiative, basic training, and a willingness to work overtime when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Area Maintenance:
- Ensure the cleanliness and conduct regular inspections of the allocated area.
- Tractor Driving:
- Drive a tractor as needed to assist in various tasks.
- Bin Inspections:
- Measure and inspect bins regularly to ensure proper functionality.
- Stock Control:
- Manage and control stock in the screening room, as well as handle the loading of screenings.
- General Duties:
- Carry out any additional tasks as requested by management.
Job Requirements:
- Education:
- Grade 12 or NQF4 qualification.
- Driver's License:
- A valid driver’s license (Code B) is required to operate a tractor.
- Own Transport:
- The candidate must have their own transport to commute to the workplace.
- Overtime:
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
