Minimum Requirements:
Education:
- Grade 12 | National Certificate
Experience:
- 0-2 years of warehouse experience (role dependent on experience).
- Forklift or Reach Truck license (necessary for Forklift/Reach Truck Driver roles).
- Proficiency in Excel.
Availability:
- Must be available to work day and night shifts, weekends (including Sundays), and public holidays.
Skills:
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Teamwork and deadline-driven.
- Basic mathematical skills.
Available Roles and Responsibilities:
General Worker:
- Ensure overstocked, damaged, and short-dated stock is returned to the Distribution Centre on time.
Picker:
- Accurately pick stock for stores following picking slips.
Cycle Counter:
- Monitor stock quantities in the warehouse.
Forklift Driver:
- Load and offload trucks, and move and stack pallets.
Reach Truck Driver:
- Operate a reach truck and stack pallets on racks.
Auditor:
- Count stock, inspect for damages, and ensure expiry dates are correct before dispatching to stores.
Combiner:
- Combine stock on pallets and shrink-wrap them for delivery to stores.
