Position Overview:
Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine is offering two opportunities for individuals to join their team as Learner Fitters. The successful candidates will undergo training to become qualified artisans, gaining essential skills and experience in mechanical maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training and development to become a qualified Fitter (Artisan).
- Support the mechanical maintenance team in their daily operations.
- Learn how to maintain and repair various machinery and equipment used in chrome mining operations.
- Ensure safety and operational standards are adhered to according to the Mine Health and Safety Act 29/1996.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 with the following subjects:
- Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
- Advantageous Qualifications:
- Physical Science (Minimum E Symbol)
- Mechanical Technology (Minimum D Symbol)
- Engineering Graphics & Design (Minimum E Symbol)
Selection Process:
