Job Purpose:
The Packing Quality Attendant is responsible for managing, supporting, and leading quality improvement processes online, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and maintaining overall product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Food Safety Management: Conduct inspections for foreign objects, pest control, and hygiene. Report any food safety incidents.
- Quality Control: Collect batch samples for lab submission and manage product quality checks.
- Inspections/Verification: Conduct product quality inspections, hygiene checks, scale verifications, and product weight checks.
- Documentation: Check and verify date coding and operator sheets.
- Sampling: Collect retention and product samples.
- Environmental Swabbing: Perform allergen and general swabbing.
- Monitoring Critical Control Points (CCP): Inspect and monitor CCPs, OPRPs, and CPs.
- Training: Provide on-the-job training to general staff in quality practices.
Qualification Requirements:
- Matric
- National Diploma in Food Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field
- Computer literacy
Experience Requirements:
- Experience with GMP, HACCP, and Supplier Quality Assurance
- Knowledge or experience of FSSC 22000 (advantageous)
- 2 years’ experience in the FMCG industry (advantageous)

Other Requirements:
- Fast-paced environment
- 6-day work schedule, including Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays as per the shift roster.
