Job Purpose:

The Part-Time Invigilator is responsible for safeguarding the integrity of assessments by monitoring students to prevent irregularities during exams. This role ensures that the assessments are conducted in accordance with institutional policies and that students follow the proper procedures.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor students during assessments to prevent malpractice.
  • Distribute exam papers and answer booklets to students.
  • Ensure compliance with assessment conditions and institutional policies.
  • Prepare and set up assessment venues to meet requirements.
  • Provide support in case of emergencies (e.g., student illness, fire evacuation).
  • Address any student queries during the assessment.
  • Provide a detailed report after each session.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Matric (Grade 12) is required.
  • A Higher Certificate or Diploma would be advantageous.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or industry.
  • No criminal record.
