Job Description:

As a Promoter, the primary role is to represent and promote Premier Bakery products. This involves engaging with potential customers and showcasing the products at various promotional activities such as in-store promotions, mobile campaigns, product launches, and brand events.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Increase brand awareness by effectively promoting Premier Bakery products to potential customers, aligning with the brand's positioning.
  • Improve sales through customer engagement and product promotion.
  • Build brand trust by representing the brand positively.
  • Optimize customer interactions and product presentation to enhance the customer experience.
  • Contribute to the overall customer service levels as part of the Bakery Sales team.
  • Collaborate with merchandisers to support in-store merchandising efforts.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.

Experience Requirements:

  • 6-12 months of sales/marketing experience (desirable).
  • 6-12 months of experience as a merchandiser (desirable).

Key Outputs:

  • Knowledge of baking products and stock control principles.
  • Skills in merchandising, persuading, and influencing.
  • Ability to build customer relationships and deal with complaints.
  • Basic reporting and adherence to food handling principles.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in a pressurised environment.
  • Willingness to work a 6-day week, including Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays.
