Job Description:

The Reconciling Clerk will be responsible for accurate driver reconciliation, maintaining route stock control, and handling administrative tasks. The role includes processing customer claims and ensuring the accurate allocation of received cash to the correct driver. Adherence to deadlines and effective participation in team meetings will be essential.


Responsibilities:

  • Driver Reconciliation: Ensure 100% accuracy in reconciling driver data.
  • Proof of Delivery (POD): Ensure all PODs are valid and logged correctly into the system.
  • Customer Claims: Process customer claims accurately and within set deadlines.
  • Route Stock Control: Maintain accurate control of route stock.
  • Administrative Support: Attend to admin queries and assist with report sending.
  • Cash Allocation: Allocate cash received to the relevant driver.
  • Team Participation: Attend invocoms and participate in team discussions.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)

Experience Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • FMCG experience is advantageous.

Key Outputs & Other Requirements:

  • Pressurized work environment
  • 6-day work schedule, including Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays.
  • Occasional overtime expected.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in reconciling and administration, preferably in the FMCG sector, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
