Job Advert Summary:

Clover is in search of a meticulous Stock Controller with an eagle eye for detail and the organizational skills of a wizard. You’ll be in charge of managing shop floor control, making sure that usage variances from the factory are accurately reported—daily. Yes, daily. This isn't your average desk job; it’s the superhero cape you never knew you needed. You’ll be based at the Clover Clayville branch.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF Level 4)
  • Experience in applying job-related concepts, techniques, and processes (We expect you to know your stuff!)
  • Fluent in Business English (because we can't have you negotiating in mime)
  • Intermediate computer literacy (if you think spreadsheets are friends, not foes)
  • Willingness to work weekends/public holidays (because stock doesn’t take a day off, apparently)

Competencies:

  • Achieves Results Effectively: We need a result-getter, not just a paper pusher.
  • Collaboration: Can you collaborate? Good, because solo shows are overrated.
  • Administrative Skills: Paperwork is your jam.
  • Communication: You’ll need to speak fluently, not just in bullet points.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily checks and balance transactions related to shop floor control (no, this doesn’t involve actual balancing, thankfully).
  • Count stock and balance the buffer store. Buffer? Yes, it’s a real thing, not just something Netflix does.
  • Handle transactions related to incidents. (Think of yourself as the Sherlock Holmes of stock discrepancies.)
  • Balance production transactions with the Warehouse Management System (because balance is key—literally and metaphorically).
  • Investigate and report on products that decided not to show up at outbound. (They’re like those friends who cancel last minute—always disappointing.)
  • Manage milk receiving, issuing, and balancing. Milk doesn’t balance itself, you know.
  • Assist with audits (financial, logistics, etc.). You’ll be the audit MVP, whether it’s crunching numbers or uncovering the mysteries of the warehouse.
