Job Purpose:

The Driver: Light Duty role is critical for providing an excellent customer experience by delivering clean, well-maintained vehicles to customers on time. The position requires a service-oriented individual who values quality, works well under pressure, and understands the importance of upholding the brand’s standards.

Position Overview:

The primary responsibility is to provide efficient, friendly customer service, ensuring each renter receives a quality and safe vehicle on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Maintenance and Quality Control:

    • Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to meet high standards.
    • Check and report any quality issues, such as expired licenses.
    • Refuel and check tyre pressure and fluids after each rental.
  • Customer Service:

    • Deliver vehicles to customers according to procedure.
    • Handle vehicle check-ins in line with quality control and claims policies.
    • Maintain cleanliness of the yard and other areas.
  • Additional Responsibilities:

    • Behave ethically, safeguarding company assets and customer interests.
    • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: NQF Level 4 (Grade 12 or equivalent).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant driving experience.
  • Licenses: Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (minimum of 2 years).
  • Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to read a map.

Additional Requirements:

Willingness to work overtime, shifts, and weekends as needed.
