Job Purpose:

Motus Vehicles Distributor is seeking two Picker Packers to support the daily operations at the Parts Distribution Centre by efficiently picking, packing, and delivering parts in compliance with standard operating procedures. The position also involves maintaining a clean and safe work area, while ensuring timely management of orders within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and Governance:

    • Plan and organize tasks to meet performance targets and adhere to SOPs.
    • Provide daily feedback on task completion to aid in decision-making.
    • Resolve routine issues independently and report unresolved matters to a supervisor.
    • Check and monitor stock levels based on cycle counts and report discrepancies.
    • Re-bin stock using system data to optimize warehouse layout.
    • Use scanning technology to manage stock placement within designated warehouse areas.
  • Financial Efficiency:

    • Execute tasks efficiently to support financial performance and profitability goals.
  • Customer Service:

    • Deliver services that enhance customer satisfaction and meet both internal and external standards.
    • Perform tasks with attention to customer expectations in all interactions.
  • Team and Personal Development:

    • Complete daily responsibilities and attend relevant training to improve job performance.
    • Actively embody company values and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Higher Certificates or Advanced National (Vocational) Certificates (NQF Level 04).
  • Experience: 1-2 years in a similar warehouse or distribution environment.

Skills and Personal Attributes:

  • Minimum Requirements:
    • Familiarity with industry legislative compliance and safety standards.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
