Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of customer insurance claims by liaising with insurers within service level agreements.
  • Provide accurate and timely responses to customer queries using the IT system.
  • Foster a culture of service excellence, teamwork, and constructive client relationships.
  • Identify and implement innovative, cost-effective ways of working.
  • Address customer inquiries through inbound calls and provide product/service information.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, legislative, and governance requirements.
  • Resolve customer queries efficiently and propose process improvements to enhance service delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely follow-up for resolution.

Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum: Grade 12
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in claims or customer service.
  • Mandatory: FAIS Qualification

Knowledge and Skills

  • Awareness of cost implications and productivity contributions.
  • Risk identification and escalation.
  • Support operational growth and profitability initiatives.
  • Strong customer service orientation, ensuring first-time resolution.
  • Advanced product knowledge to offer relevant advice and guidance.
  • Competency in identifying process improvements and optimizing internal systems.
  • Proficiency in adhering to governance and compliance standards.
  • Strong administrative and reporting capabilities.
