Job Description

Midas is looking for a dedicated and motivated Admin Clerk to join the team in Thabazimbi. This position is responsible for performing daily administration of the depot, including reception and float management.


Key Responsibilities

Invoicing & Float Control

  • Process all sales invoices accurately and complete Requests for credit notes in a timely manner.
  • Issue manual receipts and process customer receipts on the in-house system.
  • Update Daily Banking summaries and submit them to Head Office on time.
  • Issue petty cash in accordance with Beekman policy, ensuring that petty cash balances and supporting documentation are obtained and signed off by the Depot.

Reception & Switchboard

  • Professionally answer the telephone and direct calls to the correct person.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with customers and Beekman staff.

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain the Daily Fitment sheet and submit related reports to Head Office.
  • Complete accurate and timely Excel reports on cash, stock, orders, and other items.
  • Manage stationery and cleaning materials for the depot.

Stock Control

  • Keep daily stock movements updated in the in-house system.
  • Complete stock takes accurately and on time.
  • Order stock and supplies, match GRNs to purchase orders, and submit signed invoices to the Creditor's department.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as requested by managers or senior staff.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Grade 12.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in office administration or customer service environment (advantageous).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ Syspro or similar in-house system experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Excel and Outlook.
