Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Classroom Assistant to join our team. This role is integral to supporting the growth and development of young learners while fostering a positive, nurturing, and educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all duties associated with a Classroom Assistant to ensure a well-managed and engaging learning environment.
- Support the school ethos and uphold its values.
- Holistically prepare children for the next grade by assisting in school readiness.
- Conduct continuous assessments and communicate progress through parent interviews and written reports.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve school objectives.
- Follow a well-structured daily program to maintain effective learning routines.
- Actively participate in school events and activities throughout the year.
- Integrate learning activities through child-centered, play-based teaching methods.
Competencies and Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with colleagues, pupils, and parents.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and proactive.
- Strong ability to work within a team and independently when required.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to build excellent rapport with young children.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Qualification: Matric Certificate.
- Experience: Previous experience working with young children in a similar role and environment is essential.
