Purpose of the Job
The Creditors Clerk will be responsible for liaising with the capturing department, suppliers, and divisions, resolving queries, and managing supplier accounts. The role includes processing supplier claims, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Download and share supplier claims with relevant stakeholders.
- Communicate with capturing departments, suppliers, and Meat Market divisions to resolve queries.
- Handle internal and external queries related to accounts and supplier payments.
- Confirm payments with suppliers.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 with Accounting as a subject.
- Basic SAP Finance knowledge.
Experience:
- At least 2 years' experience as a Creditors Clerk.
- Previous experience working with SAP Finance.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of creditors' documents (e.g. statements, invoices, EFT remittances).
- Understanding of payment procedures and risks.
- Ability to reconcile accounts and interpret statements.
- Attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work well in a team.
