Job Overview

An opportunity is available for a Creditors Clerk responsible for processing, maintaining, and reconciling creditors' invoices and statements. The role involves preparing payments, managing accounts payable, and handling vendor inquiries.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • At least 1 year of experience in a full creditors function
  • Experience with financial systems (CS3 is advantageous)
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle large volumes of creditor reconciliations

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare creditor payment reconciliations
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Verify banking details and process payments
  • Load payment batches and ensure payment discounts are applied
  • Handle supplier payment queries
  • Maintain accurate filing of financial records
  • Process international payments
  • Check creditors' age analysis
  • Manage subcontractor payments
