Job Overview
An opportunity is available for a Creditors Clerk responsible for processing, maintaining, and reconciling creditors' invoices and statements. The role involves preparing payments, managing accounts payable, and handling vendor inquiries.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- At least 1 year of experience in a full creditors function
- Experience with financial systems (CS3 is advantageous)
- MS Office proficiency
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle large volumes of creditor reconciliations
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare creditor payment reconciliations
- Follow up on outstanding invoices
- Verify banking details and process payments
- Load payment batches and ensure payment discounts are applied
- Handle supplier payment queries
- Maintain accurate filing of financial records
- Process international payments
- Check creditors' age analysis
- Manage subcontractor payments
