Debriefer (Nightshift)
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Purpose of the Job
To ensure delivery trip sheets, proof of delivery (PODs), and drivers are debriefed according to the Value Procedure. Report any driver incidents, accidents, or vehicle damages to the relevant management.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Duties
- Conduct debriefing sessions with drivers.
- Cross-check trip sheets against tracking data for unscheduled stops.
- Receive and manage vehicle keys post-trip.
- Inspect PODs for discrepancies such as shortages.
- Address discrepancies directly with drivers (e.g., shortages, store paperwork).
- Coordinate dispatch teams for deliveries.
Administrative Duties
- Prepare delivery paperwork for the following day.
- Assign collections to appropriate teams.
- Manage seal-to-seal procedures, ensuring proper allocation.
- Report all discrepancies via email to the day shift team.
Customer Service Duties
- Maintain high standards in debriefing to ensure excellent customer relations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns or feedback.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills.
- Administrative Abilities: Proficient in completing forms and administrative tasks with provided systems and directions.
