Job Overview
AECI Chemicals is looking for two DRM Plant Operators to operate the Sulphonation plant according to standard procedures, ensuring products meet required specifications and plant operations are maintained efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the Sulphonation plant according to Work Instructions.
- Produce products within specified quality standards as per Production Packages.
- Follow correct operating procedures as per Work Instructions.
- Sample products and intermediates at required intervals or more frequently if needed.
- Take corrective actions if tests indicate out-of-specification results.
- Monitor and record plant operating conditions at required intervals.
- Take corrective action if plant conditions exceed specified limits.
- Maintain accurate and timely records as per plant Work Instructions.
- Load and off-load road tankers according to standard procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in chemical plant operations.
- Experience in Industrial Manufacturing Processes.
- Knowledge of plant operating control systems (DCS/SCADA).
- Computer literacy is essential.
