Role Purpose
The FICA Compliance Administrators will ensure compliance with internal policies, risk management procedures, and the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FIC Act).
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- 1–2 years of administrative experience.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Matric certificate with English and Mathematics.
- Studying or completed diploma/degree in accounting or auditing.
- Valid driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor online client transactions to identify potential money laundering activities.
- Report all cash transactions (singular or aggregated) to FIC within 48 hours.
- Collect and analyze compliance-related data.
- Distribute and escalate unresolved queries to senior staff.
- Monitor GOAML accounts for notifications and take appropriate actions.
- Propose and assist in improving procedures and compliance processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and independence in all duties.
- Complete ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
