About the Role
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Clerk to join their Fleet department at the Polokwane depot. The successful candidate will report directly to the Fleet Controller and will be responsible for ensuring that transport administration and relevant legislation are adhered to, while supporting the transport team in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Record fleet maintenance data on appropriate software (e.g., SAP).
- Complete general transport administration as required.
- Process orders and file documentation appropriately.
- Follow up on accident repairs, charge costs to appropriate departments.
- Control spare key box cabinet and coordinate obtaining quotes.
- Reconcile the Standard Bank account and order fleet cards.
- Allocate costs to cost centres and distribute as required.
- Record and update key performance indicators (KPIs) monthly.
- Maintain filing system for vehicle files and service records.
- Handle purchase orders and ensure compliance.
- Update daily out-of-service reports and distribute as instructed.
- Record daily breakdowns and distribute fleet reports to the analyst.
- Update SAP Fleet Database and maintain vehicle licenses and maintenance data.
- Manage daily and monthly fuel controls and the re-ordering process.
- Liaise with depots to ensure vehicles are available for service and repairs on time.
- Verify physical assets as required and conduct inspections.
- Perform pre-trip inspections and file records for audit purposes.
- Close out vehicle tracking queries and manage accident charge distributions.
- Provide administrative support for local management as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Matric (Grade 12).
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant fleet administration experience.
- Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with SAP PM (advantageous).
