Job Description

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa is seeking a skilled and motivated Fleet Clerk to join our Fleet department. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support, ensuring compliance with transport legislation and adherence to company procedures. The role involves working closely with the Fleet Controller to maintain operational efficiency and accuracy in fleet management.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain fleet maintenance data on software systems like SAP.
  • Handle transport administration, including processing orders and filing documents.
  • Apply PTP (Purchase to Pay) principles and ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate accident repair documentation and cost allocation.
  • Manage spare key box cabinet and coordinate quote requests.
  • Reconcile Standard Bank accounts and manage fleet card orders.
  • Record ODO and operational hours weekly; update performance indicators monthly.
  • Maintain a detailed and organized filing system for vehicle and service records.
  • Update out-of-service and breakdown reports; distribute as instructed.
  • Manage fleet data in SAP, including license updates and physical counts.
  • Oversee daily and monthly fuel controls and reorder processes.
  • Schedule vehicle services, repairs, and inspections in coordination with depots.
  • Ensure compliance with pre-trip inspection records and tracking queries.
  • Verify physical assets and manage forklift gas tank validations.
  • Assist with local management administration and distribute vehicle maintenance plans.

Skills, Experience & Education

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Matric (Grade 12) with at least 2 years of fleet administration experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with SAP PM (advantageous).
