Job Description

Are you passionate about talent management and development? MCE Electric is seeking an HR Administrator/Officer to join their team. This role focuses on Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Training and Development, and Performance Management.


Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies.
  • Oversee the full recruitment process, from job postings to onboarding.
  • Maintain a talent pipeline for current and future opportunities.

Onboarding

  • Ensure a smooth and engaging onboarding experience.
  • Organize and lead induction programs.
  • Be the primary point of contact for new hires during their initial months.

Training and Development

  • Identify training needs and design tailored employee development plans.
  • Organize and conduct workshops, training sessions, and team-building activities.
  • Evaluate and improve training program effectiveness.

Performance Management

  • Implement and oversee the company’s performance management system.
  • Assist managers in setting measurable performance goals.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and provide feedback on employee performance.
  • Coordinate performance reviews and development plans.

Required Abilities and Knowledge

  • In-depth understanding of HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Skilled in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Experience with HR software systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Proficient in data analysis to provide actionable insights.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction at all levels.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Social Science, or related fields.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years of HR experience, focusing on talent acquisition, onboarding, training, and performance management.
    • Proven ability to manage HR projects and deliver positive outcomes.
