Personal Assistant

Salary: R308 154 - R362 994 per annum (plus service benefits, including a 13th cheque, employer pension fund contribution, housing, and medical aid allowance)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Accredited secretarial diploma and/or administrative qualification (NQF Level 5). (Certificate of completion required)
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Appropriate experience in providing secretarial/administrative support to management.

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Good interpersonal and people skills.
  • High level of reliability, tact, and discretion.
  • Information gathering and analytical skills.
  • Self-management and motivation.
  • Basic knowledge of office management, financial administration, and relevant legislation/policies.
  • Basic knowledge of AI tools for administrative work.
  • Computer literacy: MS Office Suite (Word, Advanced Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide secretarial/receptionist support to the Director.
  • Render general administrative support services.
  • Assist in preparing and coordinating meetings for the Manager.
  • Support the Manager in audit compliance, staff reporting, and other administrative functions.
  • Study and ensure correct application of Public Service and departmental policies and procedures.
