Job Responsibilities
As a Picker at PepsiCo Park CDC Snacks, your responsibilities will include:
- Efficiently picking customer orders with accuracy.
- Ensuring correct quantities and SKUs are picked and staged for delivery at the assigned ship dock.
- Proper labeling of pallets, including customer name, ship dock, order number, and SKU quantities.
- Operating material handling equipment safely and conducting daily inspections of equipment such as RDT scanners and pallet jacks.
- Reporting faulty equipment to avoid breakdowns.
- Maintaining good housekeeping in the warehouse and adhering to health and safety regulations, including PPE compliance.
- Meeting company standards for cleanliness and stocking of inventory.
- Adhering to AIB (American Institute of Baking) standards.
- Performing additional duties as assigned by the Line Manager or Supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a warehouse environment, preferably in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods).
- Skills:
- Computer literacy – Basic MS Office.
- Communication skills – Verbal.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.
- Demonstrated drive for results.
- Availability:
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime.
