Job Summary

ANEW Hotel Greenpoint is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservationist to manage reservations and assist customers, ensuring a smooth booking experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, along with a passion for exceptional customer service.


Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Grade 12 | National Certificate.
  • Experience:
    • ±2 years as a reservationist.
    • Experience working with OPERA Cloud.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Proficiency in reservation systems and Microsoft Office.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and telephonic communication skills.
    • Command of English (multilingual proficiency is an advantage).
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure.
    • Exceptional customer service skills.
    • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
    • Self-disciplined, motivated, and a team player with a positive attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage customer inquiries and reservations via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Provide accurate written communication for all inquiries.
  • Assist customers in selecting appropriate services or accommodations based on their needs.
  • Maintain accurate reservation records, including travel agent vouchers and guest profiles.
  • Confirm and modify reservations as per customer requests, ensuring guarantees are secured.
  • Provide detailed information about rates, availability, and special packages.
  • Process payments and issue receipts.
  • Manage OTA (Online Travel Agency) bookings and balance inventory.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Resolve customer complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare for group bookings, including creating rooming lists and collecting payments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform additional duties as requested.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
