Job Summary
ANEW Hotel Greenpoint is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservationist to manage reservations and assist customers, ensuring a smooth booking experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, along with a passion for exceptional customer service.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 | National Certificate.
- Experience:
- ±2 years as a reservationist.
- Experience working with OPERA Cloud.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in reservation systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal, written, and telephonic communication skills.
- Command of English (multilingual proficiency is an advantage).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
- Self-disciplined, motivated, and a team player with a positive attitude.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage customer inquiries and reservations via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Provide accurate written communication for all inquiries.
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate services or accommodations based on their needs.
- Maintain accurate reservation records, including travel agent vouchers and guest profiles.
- Confirm and modify reservations as per customer requests, ensuring guarantees are secured.
- Provide detailed information about rates, availability, and special packages.
- Process payments and issue receipts.
- Manage OTA (Online Travel Agency) bookings and balance inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
- Prepare for group bookings, including creating rooming lists and collecting payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform additional duties as requested.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
