Job Description
Premier Products is seeking a Sales Assistant to assist with the delivery of their products, focusing on customer service and helping to maintain and grow sales volumes. This includes managing deliveries, monitoring stock, and ensuring proper handling of products.
Key Responsibilities
- Bread Sales: Assist in loading and offloading of bread.
- Stock Management: Monitor stock levels and ensure correct products are picked according to invoices.
- Shelf Management: Ensure shelves are packed according to SOP.
- Product Quality: Check the quality of bread and separate damaged bread.
- Crate Management: Ensure crates are returned daily and separated as per SOP.
- Customer Communication: Maintain communication with customers to ensure correct orders and proper crate management.
- Safety Practices: Ensure safe working practices at all times.
Qualification Requirements
- Grade 12 (Maths advantageous for career development).
Experience Requirements
- Valid Code C1 license & PDP (essential).
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar position in the FMCG industry with a focus on customer service and knowledge of bread.
Other Requirements
- Ability to work in a pressurized environment.
- Availability to work Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays, and on 24/7 standby.
- Must be able to work with heavy products/equipment – physical strength required.
- Must be willing to work long hours.
