Job Description
The Sales Consultant role focuses on delivering a positive customer experience by addressing customer needs and aspirations while adhering to company policies and procedures. The position involves selling financial solutions, achieving sales targets, and contributing to team collaboration and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold organisational values and code of ethics.
- Adhere to compliance standards and escalate risks or problems as necessary.
- Deliver high-quality work in line with company policies and procedures.
- Identify and develop solutions to improve service delivery and quality.
- Accurately complete administration, reporting, and updates on time.
- Achieve sales targets and manage sales pipelines effectively.
- Maximise cross-selling and identify opportunities to grow the client base.
- Drive adoption of digital and self-service options.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Maintain knowledge of all approved products and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to service standards and operational efficiencies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric certificate (Grade 12).
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar sales role, specifically in selling life cover.
- 2–3 years of outbound call center experience (cold calling).
- FSCA Recognized FAIS NQF 5 qualification.
- RE5 certification.
- Class of Business: Long-Term Insurance & Short-Term Insurance (Personal Lines).
- Clear credit record.
