Job Context
Servest, a leader in the Integrated Facilities Management Industry, is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Consultant to join the Landscaping Business Unit at their Cape Town Office. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, this role is essential for driving growth and offering innovative, client-focused solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (a relevant qualification is advantageous).
- Experience:
- 3–5 years of proven sales experience in the service industry.
- Demonstrated track record of successful sales.
- Skills:
- Ability to interpret customer needs effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local market conditions and natural turf.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fully proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Capable of working under pressure and independently.
- Additional Requirements:
- Valid, unendorsed driver's license and own transport.
- Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to make personal sacrifices to meet deadlines.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Sales Pipeline Management:
Maintain a consistent sales pipeline in CRM, ensuring accurate forecasts for CAPEX planning and meeting sales targets. - Acquisition Planning:
Develop and execute strategies for identified target accounts to achieve sales objectives. - Market Insights:
Analyze customer trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide feedback for improved value propositions. - Proposal Development:
Create tailored proposals based on in-depth customer analysis and Servest's available solutions. - Contract Negotiation:
Lead discussions within SLA and legal frameworks, ensuring contracts are finalized before service implementation. - Documentation and CRM:
Complete and sign off all necessary documentation, ensuring accurate activity logging in CRM to manage risks. - Client Handover:
Ensure seamless transition of new business to designated departments, maintaining customer service standards during implementation. - Cross-Selling:
Identify opportunities to cross-sell services, increasing client spend with Servest. - Tender Support:
Assist National Business Development Executives (NBDEs) with tenders and national accounts to improve conversion rates.
