Job Overview
Hollywoodbets is looking for a Senior Reconciliation Clerk to join their team. The role involves ensuring the accuracy of financial records, preventing misappropriation of company assets, and supporting the audit function. The ideal candidate will help enhance business processes and controls related to betting and financial reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- 1-2 years of administrative experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer literacy
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- 4 years of internal auditing experience
- Studying towards or completed auditing qualification (advantageous)
- Knowledge of Pastel Evolution
Key Responsibilities
Audit & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in compiling and executing an audit plan for reconciliation clerks.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
- Review audit findings and ensure timely resolutions.
Reconciliation & Financial Reporting:
- Lead and mentor Reconciliation Clerks.
- Review and analyze daily financial transactions.
- Assist in stock takes and investigate variances.
- Perform and review month-end reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit daily reports to the Group Retail Accountant.
Process Improvement & Project Management:
- Continuously seek ways to improve business efficiency.
- Support new development projects and system enhancements.
- Complete business requirement documents for the development team.
Training & Support:
- Assist clerks with training and development.
- Ensure adherence to departmental policies.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring.
