Stock Control Clerk
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa

Join South Africa’s leading fashion retailer, Truworths, as a Stock Control Clerk and become part of a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations within the Stock Control Department, maintaining stock control stability for all South African and international stores, the Head Office, and the Distribution Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and communicate effective admin procedures to stores in collaboration with Field, ISD, Stock Control, and Internal Audit teams.
- Ensure accurate stock take results are reported and stock controls are followed.
- Provide timely and accurate stock information to support business interests.
- Plan and coordinate all stock takes for the business.
- Assist with daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
- Resolve store-related stock queries and follow up on outstanding stock deliveries.
- Analyze administrative documents daily.
- Compile audit analysis to identify trends and concerns in store audits.
- Perform month-end, financial, and year-end stock control balancing.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric
- BCom or equivalent qualification (advantageous)
Experience/Knowledge:
- Previous retail store experience.
- Experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
- Familiarity with inventory applications.
- Excellent customer service skills with strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong planning, organizing, and time management skills.
- Team player with a committed and energetic approach.
- Knowledge of the Truworths operations environment (advantageous).
