Stores Assistant – BME (A Division of Omnia)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Experience:
    • 3 years of experience in a stores/warehouse environment
    • Driving experience is essential

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock Management:
    • Issue stock and tools
    • Order and receive stock and parts
    • Perform stock counts and maintain records
    • Stack and store items properly
  • Customer Service & Support:
    • Prepare and dispatch parcels to clients
    • Handle quotations and telephone inquiries
  • General Duties:
    • Housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness
    • Packing, crating, and weighing items
    • Labelling and documentation
    • Keep registers updated

  • Proficiency in Excel and general computer literacy
