Job Overview
A permanent opportunity is available for a suitably qualified Admin Clerk to join our team in Kimberley. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering reports to hospital wards and doctors' rooms, ensuring efficient service delivery and fast turnaround times.
Key Responsibilities
- Register attendance on the system as per procedures.
- Prioritise urgent results, print and mark report delivery lists.
- Sort reports for efficient and timely delivery.
- Perform hospital rounds, deliver reports, and collect samples when required.
- Ensure proper housekeeping in the work area.
- Follow health and safety protocols in accordance with legislation.
- Adhere to company uniform policies as per standard procedures.
- Record laboratory numbers in a register as proof of delivery.
- Resolve specimen queries to ensure accuracy in testing.
- Verify patient details before delivering reports to ensure correct identification.
- Maintain hospital files by removing preliminary reports and filing final reports.
- Archive raw data for traceability of records.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or relevant NQF Level 4 qualification.
- 0 – 2 years of relevant experience.
- Entry-level position – suitable for candidates with limited experience.
