Job Overview
Applications are invited for the position of Admin Clerk in the Dry Goods Department at Adam Tas, Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will report to the Dry Goods Controller.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide efficient service to internal and external customers.
- Ensure adherence to Supply Chain Excellence Operating Model.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Maintain compliance with BRC/IFS and ISO standards.
- Process SAP transactions accurately.
- Maintain proper filing for easy reference and traceability.
- Ensure compliance with monthly ICC reports.
- Assist with stocktaking and month-end stock verification.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Stand in for the Warehouse Controller when necessary.
- Maintain 5S management in office spaces.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- Higher Certificate in Office or Business Administration
- 1–3 years’ experience in a Dry Goods warehouse or administrative function
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP-MM
- Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills
- Punctuality and reliable attendance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, accurate, and methodical work approach
- Team player with a proactive work ethic
- Willingness to work overtime when required
