Job Purpose
The Admin Coordinator: Crew Performance supports the Crew Performance Team Leader and Manager in implementing the Cabin Crew Business/Operational Plan. This role involves administrative duties, logistical coordination, and communication within the Cabin Crew department.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange logistics for meetings and maintain office essentials.
- Investigate incidents such as AWOLs, sick leave, late sign-ons, and complaints.
- Process HR-related queries for crew and reconcile leave requests.
- Maintain effective communication within the Cabin Crew department.
- Handle reception calls and manage correspondence and filing.
- Assist in preparing reports, managing diaries, and coordinating meetings.
- Support Crew Performance leadership with daily tasks and decisions.
- Liaise with Cabin Crew and operational teams to prevent delays.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent (NQF Level 4).
- Certificate/Diploma in Administration or a related qualification is an advantage.
- 2–3 years of experience in data capturing or an administrative role.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, Intranet, and Internet.
Knowledge and Skills
- Airline environment knowledge and operational terminology.
- Experience with intranet and SharePoint functionality.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with strong time management.
- Stakeholder and conflict management experience.
