Job Overview

Europcar’s Ladysmith branch is looking for a Customer Service Agent to assist customers with their rental needs, from vehicle check-out and returns to handling reservations and queries. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with vehicle check-out, check-in, and reservations.
  • Process amendments, cancellations, and monitor reservations.
  • Handle customer queries and provide excellent service.
  • Perform general office duties (e.g., capturing fuel, scanning documents, handling claims reports).
  • Ensure security and quality control of vehicles and company property.
  • Identify and report expired licenses, maintenance issues, and non-compliant vehicles.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the branch.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Matric (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of customer service or front office experience.
  • License: Code 8 driver’s license with at least 1 year of driving experience.
  • Other:
    • Computer literate.
    • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
