Job Overview

Anglo American Platinum invites applications for Engineering Exposure Training at Amandelbult Mine. This learnership offers individuals the chance to gain hands-on experience and work towards a qualification as a qualified artisan.

Available Learnerships

• Fitter (x8)
• Rigger (x4)
• Electrician (x4)
• Diesel Mechanic (x2)
• Boilermaker (x6)

Minimum Entry Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

1. Matric Qualification:

• Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) – minimum 40% pass
• Physical Science – minimum 40% pass
• English – minimum 40% pass

2. N2 Certificate or Higher:

• Must have all subjects required for the specific trade.

3. NCV Level 4 Qualification:

• Must be in the appropriate trade with a minimum 40% pass in all subjects.

Trade Test Requirements

To qualify for the final trade test, candidates must have:

• N2 Certificate with applicable subjects for the chosen trade.
• Subjects Required:
  • Mathematics
  • Engineering Science
  • Relevant Trade Theory
  • Industrial Electronics / Engineering Drawings / Plating Structural Drawings
• NCV Level 4 with a minimum 40% pass in all subjects.
