Job Description:
AECI is looking for an Investor Relations Coordinator to support administrative, communication, and analytical activities for effective engagement with shareholders, analysts, and stakeholders. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and helps maintain strong relationships within the investment community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the investor relations calendar, including earnings releases, AGMs, and investor conferences.
- Organize and coordinate logistics for investor meetings, earnings calls, AGMs, roadshows, and site visits.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams for event promotions.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of mandatory JSE announcements (trading updates, results releases, shareholder communications).
- Ensure compliance with JSE Listings Requirements and other relevant regulations.
- Draft shareholder communications, press releases, and presentations.
- Maintain and update the stakeholder database (shareholders, analysts, media contacts).
- Track company stock performance, peer performance, and industry trends.
- Support the preparation of internal reports on market trends, shareholder activity, and sentiment analysis.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Finance, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 2–4 years’ experience in investor relations, financial reporting, corporate communications, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with JSE Listings Requirements and regulatory filings.
- Exposure to the South African capital markets environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with CRM or investor relations-specific tools (advantageous).
- Basic understanding of financial statements and corporate governance.
