About the Role
Bridgestone is offering a Production Learnership opportunity for candidates looking to develop skills in tyre manufacturing. The successful candidate will report to the Production Foreman and be responsible for assembling tyres while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments of equipment.
- Maintain 3S standards in the work area.
- Check and ensure all machine controls are in working order.
- Remove empty spools, trolleys, and rolls from the machine.
- Return empty containers to the component section.
- Push raw covers into storage bays.
- Supply solutions to machines as needed.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Meet production targets as per the learnership programme.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or N3-N5 Certificate.
- Must have Mathematics (Pure Maths) and/or Physical Science.
