Main Purpose of the Role
The Sales Consultant is responsible for delivering a positive customer experience by understanding customer needs and offering value-adding financial solutions. The role requires adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and sales targets.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Attach qualification copies when applying)
- 3+ years of experience in a similar sales role, selling life cover
- 2 – 3 years of outbound cold calling experience in a call center
- Experience selling Life Insurance products
- FSCA-recognized FAIS NQF 5 qualification
- RE5 Certification
- Class of Business: Long-Term Insurance & Short-Term Insurance (Personal Lines)
- Clear credit record
Key Responsibilities

- Identify and escalate risks where necessary
- Ensure high-quality work and operational efficiency
- Meet sales targets and maintain an acceptable cost of sales ratio
- Grow the customer base while managing costs
- Maximize sales through financial solutions and cross-selling opportunities

- Maintain specialized knowledge of company products and sales processes
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Deliver excellent customer service in line with company standards
