Job Description
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is seeking a talented Account Manager to join their Sales Department in Pretoria. The successful candidate will report to the Trade Presence and Merchandising Manager and will be responsible for managing profitable sales of CCBSA products, developing new business relationships, and achieving customer excellence, brand loyalty, and profitable volume growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and implement new business opportunities.
- Optimize customer service and manage accounts.
- Formulate and review account plans.
- Execute promotions and generate orders.
- Manage cash and credit accounts.
- Compile competitor reports and manage assets.
Required Knowledge & Competencies
- Sales/Marketing principles and practices.
- CCBSA product knowledge and TSP principles.
- Merchandising and cooler management.
- Order taking, Credit Management, and Basic Finance.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Confident, outgoing, and able to build positive relationships.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage demanding environments.
- High energy and a results-driven attitude.
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric and a completed 3-year sales/marketing qualification.
- 2 years of relevant FMCG experience in a sales/marketing environment.
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license.
- Computer literate or the potential to acquire computer skills.
