Job Description
Parts Incorporated Africa is looking for an Administrator: Debtors to join the Nelspruit branch. The role involves working with the internal procurement team and external suppliers to manage branch purchases and ensure creditors are paid accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain debtors’ accounts to ensure accurate, up-to-date records
-
Monitor account movements and investigate unusual items
-
Reconcile statements and debtor payments
-
Calculate settlement discounts where applicable
-
Ensure payments are correctly matched to accounts
-
Raise and capture adjusting journals in debtor accounts
-
Liaise with customers daily about outstanding payments and queries
-
Complete Debtor Input Sheets and daily DSS documents on time
-
Follow up on debtor queries without delay
-
Perform ad hoc tasks related to debtor management
Qualifications and Experience
-
Grade 12 (Bookkeeping, Business Economics, and Mathematics preferred)

Experience with Debtors' Accounts is essential

Bookkeeping experience in a similar company

Ability to identify and solve problems without delay

Understanding of double-entry accounting – essential

Comfortable with computerised ledgers

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Ability to communicate and collaborate with customers, staff, and head office

Organised and disciplined approach to daily tasks
